Is special adhesive required for installing commercial wallpaper?
Yes, it is necessary to use specialized adhesive for heavy-duty wallpapers.

How to prepare the substrate before applying commercial wallpaper?
The substrate should be dry, clean, dust-free, perfectly smooth, and durable. The wall surface must not crumble. In the case of crumbling substrates, unstable parts should be removed, and any defects should be filled with a hard spackling compound. The room temperature should not be lower than 10ºC.

Can commercial wallpaper be applied to a painted wall?
Yes, but the wall needs to be matted and brought to a non-absorbent surface.

Is wall priming required?
Yes, before applying the wallpaper, the wall should be primed and brought to a non-absorbent surface.

Do we apply commercial wallpapers "butt-jointed" or "overlapping"?
Depending on the type of wallpaper, the necessary information can be found in the installation instructions. Where the wallpaper meets, it is recommended to lightly paint the wall a color similar to the wallpaper.

Is a special knife needed for cutting wallpaper?
Absolutely yes, a sharp knife is required, especially for wallpapers with a grammage above 500g.

§ 7. Warranty and complaints

1. The purchased goods are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
2. The warranty covers the spontaneous peeling of wallpaper from a properly prepared substrate for self-adhesive laminated wallpapers, including curling at the edges.
3. For self-adhesive laminated vinyl wallpapers, shrinkage up to 3 mm is natural and is not covered by the warranty, unless it causes larger parts of the wallpaper to detach from the wall.
4. The warranty also covers spontaneous colour loss exceeding 5% compared to the colour on the day of installation.
5. The product warranty does not cover installation or damage incurred during installation, e.g. tearing, abrasion, scratching, stretching of the material, or incorrect alignment of panels.
6. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage to wallpaper in the form of scratches or holes in the wallpaper and wall.
7. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage resulting from scrubbing and the use of detergents for smooth non-woven fabric and vinyl on non-woven fabric. The only scrub-resistant material is laminated self-adhesive vinyl.
8. Complaints should be sent to the email address reklamacje@wallart.com.pl.
9. In the event of defective goods or errors in order fulfilment, the Store guarantees their replacement with undamaged or correct goods within 7 working days of the complaint being accepted.
10. Products subject to a complaint should be returned in packaging that ensures good protection against possible damage during transport. It is recommended to mark the package with a note regarding the reason for the complaint. After a positive resolution of the complaint, the cost of returning the package will be refunded.
11. Unjustified complaints and damage resulting from improper use of the goods will not be considered. All costs associated with such cases are covered by the Buyer.
12. Acceptance of the product card means final confirmation of the appearance, arrangement, size and proportions of the pattern, as well as confirmation of the selected material, the technique of preparing joints between wallpaper strips and the division of the pattern into panels.
13. Complaints made due to the content of the order (e.g. material, pattern, size, installation method) after accepting the product card will not be considered.
14. Each wallpaper should be checked on a flat surface before application to the wall – for colour, joint, and pattern matching, taking into account the overlap – for laminated self-adhesive vinyl wallpapers. Complaints made after pasting on the wall, omitting the step of checking the wallpaper on a flat surface, will not be considered. Installation is equivalent to accepting the technical and visual condition of the product. In the event of mismatched patterns or colours between panels, complaints should be made before application to the wall – by taking photos and sending them to reklamacje@wallart.com.pl.
15. We do not produce metallic wallpapers. The colours gold, silver and copper are printed colours, i.e. imitating the colours gold, silver and copper.
16. Any shipments sent at the expense of Wall Art Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Wrocław will not be accepted.
17. Individual settings of the end device may cause differences between the product visualisation on the Customer's computer and the actual appearance of the product (colour, proportions, etc.). This is not a basis for a complaint.
18. The customer has the right to order a sample to check the texture of the material, colour and quality of the graphic. An A3 sample shows the general appearance (arrangement and proportions) of the pattern reduced for a size of 3x4m or 3x5m for collections from 2021, the wall and a 1:1 fragment for 3x4m or 3x5m for collections from 2021. It is possible to order a 1:1 sample for the target wall size, upon explicit customer request. The sample is only a fragment of the target wallpaper, which is a mural (not a repeating pattern). It is not possible for the sample to contain the entire pattern for the entire wall in 1:1 scale. The only basis for a complaint can be the difference between the physical sample and the ordered product, in this specific fragment of wallpaper, provided that the wallpaper was ordered within 14 days from the date of receipt of the sample, and the wallpaper was checked immediately after receipt of the order.
19. The colours of samples and wallpapers may differ slightly from the colours contained in pattern books.
20. Complaints made due to colour differences without prior sample ordering will not be considered.
21. The sample is a representative example of the pattern proportions, product quality, material structure, print quality, sharpness of blur, colour tone, and colour scheme for individual colours that appeared on the sample. If, based on the sent sample, the customer is unable to assess whether it meets their expectations for the final effect, they should ask for a sample of another specified wallpaper fragment or cancel the order.
22. The sample is sent in A3 format and is a condensed example of the entire wallpaper, the target print of which is planned in dimensions of 500x300cm (height); gradients, colour transitions and the full range of colours present on the target wallpaper may not be visible on the sample.
23. If a fragment or part of the wallpaper is damaged due to the fault of the ordering party, it is possible to order an additional print; complaints about colour differences in the case of an additional print to already produced wallpaper will not be considered.
24. Any deficiencies in the order must be reported within 30 calendar days of receiving the order; after this deadline, complaints regarding incomplete orders will not be accepted.

§ 8. Returns

1. In accordance with Article 27 of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights, a consumer who has concluded a distance or off-premises contract may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving any reason and without incurring costs. At the same time, in accordance with Article 38 point 3 of the aforementioned Act, the right to withdraw from a contract concluded off-premises or at a distance does not apply to the consumer in relation to a contract in which the subject of the service is a non-prefabricated item, manufactured according to the consumer's specifications or serving to satisfy their individual needs.
2. The Store primarily offers products made to individual order, including wallpapers, photo wallpapers, commercial and office wallpapers (whiteboard, dry-erase and magnetic wallpapers are cut to size), products from the Home Decor section, and products from Zieta Studio. For these products, there is no right of withdrawal (return) without giving a reason.
3. Only silk scarves, pillowcases available off-the-shelf, charity products – planners, scarves, jewellery, and crane hearts, wallpaper adhesives, aquaceramic varnish, and moisture insulator, as well as round and arched wallpapers – are eligible for return.
4. Returns are only possible if the item has not been used or damaged in any way.
5. Returned goods should be sent back in packaging that guarantees good protection against possible damage during transport (cardboard and bubble wrap). It is recommended to mark the package with the annotation "return" and include a statement of withdrawal from the contract (an example template is Appendix No. 1 to these Regulations, unless the statement has been submitted otherwise) to the store's address: Wall Art. Sp. z o.o., ul. Ćwiczebna 4, 51-180 Wrocław.
6. The Store guarantees a refund of the price of the goods and shipping costs; if the Customer chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the Store, the Store will only refund the cost of the cheapest available delivery. Money will be immediately refunded by bank transfer to the account indicated by the Customer. Returns sent at the recipient's expense will not be accepted.
7. The direct cost of returning the product as a result of withdrawal is borne by the Customer. At the same time, the Customer is responsible for reducing the value of the product resulting from using it in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics or functionality of the product.
