Bridge depicts one of Wrocław’s best-known bridges—the Grunwaldzki Bridge. In 1904, a competition was announced for the design of a bridge that would connect both banks of the river near what is now Grunwaldzki Square. Nearly 40 designs were submitted, and the winning concept was created by architect Martin Mayer and engineer Robert Weyrauch. Once known as Kaiserbrücke, or the Imperial Bridge, it was built in 1910. The bridge took two years to construct, weighed over 2,000 tonnes, and was 20 metres wide. During its load test, 24 trams and fire engines were positioned on the bridge.
The perspective from which the artist captured the bridge will add depth to any room, making it appear optically larger. Bridge is an excellent choice for modern interiors and lofts.
The artist behind the design is Kamil Siudziński, born in Wrocław in 1983. A graphic designer by profession and an artist by passion, he creates contemporary art while continuously pushing his own boundaries, without limiting himself to a single style, subject matter, or medium. In his work, he depicts people, nature, and architecture.
Round wallpapers are prepared as a 130 cm-diameter decoration, or slightly smaller if additional elements such as flowers, wings, or other details extend beyond the design.
The wallpaper is easy to apply and requires no adhesive. It can be applied not only to walls but also to furniture.
