Magdalena Głodek Collection
Born on May 4, 1983, she developed her painting skills under the tutelage of Professor Czesław Pius Ciapała at the College of Fine Arts in Warsaw. After completing her studies, she spent years honing her craft independently, developing her own technique, which she continually deepens and refines. Today, as an illustrator and painter, she is developing her own visual language, employing both abstraction and figuration.
She creates within four consistently developed series: Permeation (since 2018), Point of View (since 2020), Change (since 2021), and Origin (since 2022). Characteristic for her are a limited color palette, subtle gesture, and material experimentation—she often adds fine-grained sand to her paints, giving the paintings' surfaces a unique texture. The precise, aesthetic form is intended to catch the eye, to hold the viewer longer and encourage them to immerse themselves in the underlying message.
Her work is a metaphorical dialogue between nature and humanity. Lines evoke roots—connections between generations—and the rhythmic processes of nature become a reflection of cultural and emotional codes. Layers of texture and structure symbolize human sensitivity, creating a painterly narrative of what lies beneath the surface. The artist's works primarily find their way to private collectors in Poland and abroad, and she collaborates with select art market leaders, consistently building her position in the world of contemporary painting.
