EXTREME is made of 100% vinyl, which is inherently difficult to damage. It takes considerable force to deform it and truly substantial force to tear it. EXTREME owes its uncompromising durability primarily to lamination—the process of covering the print with a special protective layer that shields the printed layer of the wall wallpaper from damage. This is no ordinary protection, as lamination prevents:

• mechanical resistance: you can vigorously clean the surface of this elegant wallpaper with the rough side of a sponge without worrying about scratching it, 
• chemical resistance: it is not affected by strong household chemicals, or even acetone. If the wallpaper surface is marked with a pen, marker, or nail polish, you can remove the stains without any problem. Dried food residue, limescale, old grease—you can wash all of it from the wallpaper surface using the products you use for other surfaces,
• thermal resistance: as long as it is not exposed to direct flames, it can be used, for example, near induction or electric cooktops,
• a wide range of applications, such as:acrylic glass, glass, smooth tiles, or an unfinished furniture board. It is perfect for makeovers:

Self-adhesive wall wallpaper – two-component droplet adhesive

Self-adhesive materials, also known as self-adhesive films, arouse strong emotions. When dealing with moderately sized stickers, we appreciate their adhesive properties and, consequently, their ease of application. Everything becomes more complicated as the surface being covered grows. Anyone who has tried it knows that, with most self-adhesive films, the sappers’ rule applies: you only make a mistake once. Attempts to lift material that has already bonded to the substrate are doomed to failure and, in the worst-case scenario, can destroy the film. Air bubbles can cause further difficulties, often removable only with a needle: carefully puncturing the film and releasing the air through the resulting hole. 

With EXTREME wallpaper, we solved both of these problems. The adhesive used is two-component and arranged in the form of symmetrical droplets. What does this solution offer? 

Thanks to the use of a low-initial-tack droplet adhesive, this modern wallpaper is exceptionally easy to apply. It allows the wallpaper to be lifted and repositioned multiple times. This makes it possible to apply it without air bubbles or creases, all without damaging the wallpaper itself. After 24 hours from application and pressing it onto the surface, the adhesive enclosed in microcapsules is released, initiating the proper process of adhesion—the wallpaper bonding to the surface. 

The vinyl used for EXTREME material is fully opaque, allowing us to apply the wallpaper to dark surfaces, as well as over existing wallpaper, with confidence that nothing will show through the new design.

Can EXTREME be applied to any surface?

Self-adhesive EXTREME vinyl is a solution for any smooth, dust-free surface, which should also be degreased before application.Although this material has many different applications, as its name suggests, it is primarily wallpaper and is suitable for installation on walls. For this type of installation, remember to prime the wall with a deep-penetrating primer or, if applying the wallpaper to a previously painted surface, to matt and dust the painted layer.
When installing on ceramic tiles with classic, deep grout lines, we recommend leveling the grout with filler for a better visual effect and, as with a classic wall, priming the filled surface.
