Pattern designer
The “Senzai” wallpaper presents an atmospheric composition inspired by traditional Japanese art. The central element of the design is a stately crane standing among tall grasses and decorative foliage. The bird’s slender silhouette, meticulously rendered plumage, and graphic plant forms contrast with a soft, painterly background resembling a misty landscape. The composition combines the decorative quality of historic Japanese illustrations with a more contemporary, subdued aesthetic, creating a design that is elegant, serene, and expressive at the same time.
Colour palette
Muted shades of blue-grey, steel blue, and deep navy dominate the palette. The cool base is balanced by light sandy and straw tones in the grasses and foliage. The crane’s plumage combines navy, black, grey, and off-white, while subtle ochre and russet accents appear in the details of its head and beak. The palette is cool, calm, and elegant, with a delicate contrast between the bird’s dark silhouette and the light vegetation.

For light patterns printed on EXTREME material, we recommend ordering a sample—the laminate may subtly alter the shade of light colors (white, gray, beige, light blue).
