Every wall has its own character
An unusual wall is one that requires the wallpaper pattern to be individually adjusted—both in terms of its shape and the pattern’s proportions.
We work with, among others:
- Walls over 5 meters wide
- Walls over 4 meters high
- Sloped walls and attics
- Stairwells
- Arches and circles in non-standard dimensions
- Niches and unusual built-ins

How to measure a wall correctly?
Windows
- Measure the wall’s width and height – record both dimensions
- If the wallpaper is to cover several walls – describe how they connect to one another.
- Windows:
- Mark their position on the sketch.
- Provide their dimensions – width and height. - Check that the partial dimensions add up to the total width/height of the wall. (does b+c+d=a? e+f+g=h?)
- Remember to tell us if there are any other unusual elements on your wall. (e.g. a fireplace, recess, molding, or decorative plasterwork).
- Do not add any extra allowance. We will do this ourselves when preparing the visualization.
Doors
- Measure the width and height of the wall – record both dimensions
- If the wallpaper is to cover several walls – describe how they connect to one another.
- Doors:
- Mark their position on the sketch.
- Provide their dimensions – width and height.
- Specify whether they are standard or concealed doors and whether they will be wallpapered. Measure the doors according to the graphic. - Check that the partial dimensions, when added together, equal the total width/height of the wall. (Does b+c+d=a? e+f+g=h?)
- Remember to tell us if there are any other unusual elements on your wall. (e.g. a fireplace, alcove, trim, or decorative moulding).
- Do not add extra allowance. We will do this ourselves when preparing the visualisation.
Sloped ceilings
- Measure the width and height of the wall – record both dimensions
- If the wallpaper is to cover several walls – describe how they connect to one another.
- If the wall is beneath a slope, measure the slope according to the diagram.
- Check that the partial dimensions add up to the total width/height of the wall. (does b+c+d=a? e+f+g=h?)
- Remember to tell us if there are any other unusual elements on your wall. (e.g. a fireplace, alcove, moulding, or decorative plasterwork).
- Do not add any extra allowance. We will do this ourselves when preparing the visualisation.
Storage staircase
- Measure the width and height of the wall - record both dimensions
- If the wallpaper is to cover several walls – describe how they connect to each other.
- If the wall is located in a stairwell, measure the stairs according to the graphic.
- Check that the partial measurements add up to the full width/height of the wall. (does b+c+d=a? e+f+g=h?)
- Remember to tell us if there are any other unusual elements on your wall. (e.g. a fireplace, recess, moulding, or decorative plasterwork).
- Do not add any extra allowance. We will do this ourselves when preparing the visualisation.

Pattern matching
We adjust the colors, proportions, and framing of the design so that the wallpaper fits your interior perfectly.
We can lighten or darken the design, match its shade to your paint, create a mirrored version, or prepare wallpaper in custom dimensions.
All to ensure a cohesive, refined result in every detail.

However, each modification varies in complexity and the time required to prepare it. Below, you will find a description of the different types of modifications, making it easier to plan your order, understand the actual lead time, and check which changes can be made.
(project preparation within 2 days)
- colour changes when the entire pattern is uniformly altered (e.g. lighter, two shades darker, increased/decreased saturation, black and white, lightened, in shades of beige—with no specific NCS colours or other precise guidelines provided); please note that for colour changes, we also send samples for approval of the colour on the print,
- slightly taller walls—max. 400 cm,
- mirrored images,
- special circles and arches (frame adjustment),
- circles and arches wider than 130 cm,
- walls wider than 500 cm and pattern extensions—most of these visualisations are prepared within 2 business days*, but the change may prove more time-consuming and take up to 7 business days*.
(project preparation within 7 days)
- detailed color change, when only specific elements are to be changed, new colors are introduced, or specific NCS colors or other precise guidelines are provided,
- a wall higher than 400 cm (not requiring a layout drawing).
Each case requires consultation—the design department will assess whether the change is possible and, if so, how long it will take to prepare the visualisation (no more than 7 business days):
- complex walls requiring a layout plan (stairwells, attics, etc.),
- customer-provided files and their modifications,
- removing or adding elements,
- any unusual changes.
- creating a new design,
- color changes when the Client sends, for example, a photo of panels or a paint name—in that case, please ask them to provide the NCS/RAL number. Remember to explain to the Client that colors displayed on screens differ from printed colors,
- when the Client sends only a link to a graphic that must be purchased—remember that purchasing the graphic is the Client’s responsibility,
- when information or measurements are missing—remember to provide all the necessary measurements,
- copies of designs by other manufacturers—in such cases, we offer a design from the Wall Art collection.
