Pattern designer
The “Town Hall” wallpaper depicts the stunning Wrocław Town Hall, known as a gem of Lower Silesia’s Gothic architecture. The meticulously rendered building resembles an architectural sketch drawn with a fine line, broken up by a bold, contemporary colour palette. The blue of the sky meets coral and brick tones on the façade, giving the historic architecture an entirely new character.
Wrocław Town Hall was built over approximately 250 years – over the following centuries, it was expanded, embellished and refined. Its oldest section dates back to 1299, and the long construction process resulted in an extraordinary wealth of details that still make it one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.
The “Town Hall” design shows the eastern façade of the town hall, which draws particular attention with its ornate decoration. This is where the distinctive clock is located. One of its hands indicates the hours, while the other shows the phases of the Moon. Symbols representing the individual seasons are arranged around the golden dial: winter is represented by a symbol resembling the letter “T” with two legs, summer by a graceful “U”, spring by an “O” with a tail, and autumn by an inverted “W”.
“Town Hall” combines Wrocław’s history with contemporary illustration. Its striking perspective makes the soaring turrets and richly decorated gables seem to rise above the interior, while the unusual colour palette takes away the museum-like solemnity of the historic architecture and gives it a more artistic, almost pop-art character.

The design’s palette is based on intense turquoise blue, coral, muted red, brick pink and warm orange tones, combined with a graphite sketch-like line. The contrast between the cool sky and warm architecture gives the composition striking character and depth.

For light patterns printed on EXTREME material, we recommend ordering a sample—the laminate may subtly alter the shade of light colors (white, gray, beige, light blue).
