10 years of thoughtfully building the brand.

Wall Art did not emerge from a ready-made business plan. It was born from a need for change—from the moment when quality, aesthetics, and long-term thinking became more important than quick results and compromises. What began as a small project repeatedly put on hold evolved into a brand that is steadily building its position in the world of interiors. It is a story of courage, transformation, and decisions guided by its own values. And each passing year is proof that choosing its own path was worth it.

Before wallpaper was invented

Wall Art’s story began in 2010 with a domain and an idea for a brand.
At that time, the project mainly focused on posters and stickers and remained on the margins of the company’s operations. The company’s main area of business was the
advertising industry. The brand existed, but without a clear direction or room to grow.

The potential was there.
The time wasn’t right yet.

The day that changed everything

March 8, 2016 marked the publication of the first Facebook post. That was the day Wall Art began operating in the form we know today.
Wallpaper became the key product. There was no ready-made business plan.
Graphic designer Małgosia proposed creating a shop and new designs when the advertising industry began to decline.

It was a moment of decision: to build something of our own. On our own terms.

Difficult beginnings

The team consisted of three people.
The company had limited resources and financial obligations. From the very beginning, however, there were three foundations that have remained unchanged to this day:

  • production expertise
  • determination
  • an uncompromising approach to quality

These became the brand’s DNA.

A decision on independence

After two years of organic sales growth, a strategic decision was made to establish Wall Art as a separate company. August 2018 formally confirmed what the market already knew — wallpaper had real potential.
At the same time, the B2B model began to develop, and today it is one of the brand’s pillars. Collaboration with architects, showrooms, and trade partners opened an entirely new stage of growth, based on relationships and the shared creation of value.

Entering the interior design scene

The debut at Warsaw Home confirmed the direction. Customers began actively looking for Wall Art products in brick-and-mortar stores.

Collaboration with artists began. Designs started being created based on original, hand-crafted works.

That same year, the company definitively ended its advertising activities. It was a deliberate shift into a new industry and an entry into the world of quality, aesthetics, and long-term growth.

200%

This was the average annual sales growth between 2018 and 2021. This growth was not driven by aggressive advertising.

It was built on:

  • product quality
  • customer recommendations
  • relationships with architects
  • the trust of B2B partners

During this period, our machinery was upgraded, raising production standards to the level required in the interior design industry.

Not every brand begins with a grand plan. Not every one is created with an investor, a marketing budget, and a five-year strategy.

Did you know that...

Wall Art is more than just wallpaper

Over the years, Wall Art has not limited itself solely to designing and producing wallpaper. The natural next step was to transfer our original designs onto other media — resulting in silk scarves, designer handbags, cushions, curtains, rugs, and bedding featuring our signature motifs. It was a period of intensive exploration and testing how far we could expand the brand’s world while maintaining consistency in aesthetics and quality. Although wallpaper is at the heart of our business today, these projects were an important experience that helped us understand even more deeply what Wall Art truly is — not merely a product, but a consistently developed language of pattern and space.

Scarves

Wall Art silk scarves were an attempt to bring our designs from the world of walls into the world of fashion. They were made from natural silk, sewn and finished in Italy, in ateliers specializing in luxury fabrics. Each scarf featured hand-rolled edges, one of the most demanding and highly valued finishing techniques in the world of silk. It was a project where aesthetics met craftsmanship, and our original compositions took on an entirely new, more personal dimension.

Cushions

The next step was introducing cushions featuring our original designs—and, as always, we refused to take shortcuts. We searched for the perfect form: durable, beautiful, and suited to a variety of spaces. We created models made of eco-leather, hard-wearing and practical—ideal for a terrace or balcony. We also developed versions in soft, “incredibly pleasant” velvet, as well as elegant cotton cushions that are more classic and timeless. Regardless of the material, every cushion was sewn in Poland in small sewing workshops, where quality workmanship and attention to detail were just as important as the design itself.

Bedding

Bedding was the next step in developing the idea of bringing art into everyday life. We began with a short, carefully selected collection made from the highest-quality satin cotton—soft, refined, and pleasant to the touch. Personalization soon became the natural next direction. Customers could choose any design from our collection and tailor the bedding size to their individual needs. It was the moment when a design stopped being merely decorative and became part of a deeply personal space—a place of rest and everyday ritual.

Rugs

At a certain point, we began thinking of the floor as another surface for a pattern. That is how our subtly lustrous viscose rugs came about, with a soft, elegant texture and a special coating that protects the design from wear and makes everyday cleaning easier. Here, aesthetics went hand in hand with functionality. Each rug could be made in any shape and size, allowing it to become an integral part of the design rather than a compromise adapted to a ready-made format.

Bags

Bags were one of the most handcrafted projects in Wall Art’s history. We applied our original designs to high-quality vegan leather, paying close attention to color saturation and print durability. The bag’s form itself—including both the construction and the interior layout—was designed especially for us from the ground up, without using ready-made templates. Each piece was made entirely by hand in a small tailoring studio in Wrocław, where detail, proportion, and quality of finish mattered. It was a project in which the design extended beyond the interior and became part of everyday style.

Karolina Lepczak, CEO

From the very beginning, Wall Art has had a face and a heart: Karolina. She brought the brand to life and, throughout the years, has safeguarded its quality, aesthetics, and direction. She has grown and evolved alongside the company—from someone immersed in the operational details of production to a leader who sets the strategy, builds the team, and consistently ensures that every product bearing the Wall Art name reflects the values on which the brand was founded.

Her attention to detail, courage in making decisions, and refusal to compromise on quality have made Wall Art more than just a wallpaper manufacturer—it has become a thoughtfully managed premium brand.

It started with three people...

Wall Art Team

As Wall Art has grown, so has our team. Over the years, more people have joined us, although—as in any company—we have also had to say goodbye to a few. Staff turnover is very low, however, and from the beginning, our working atmosphere has been based on mutual respect and genuine personal warmth. We place great importance on ensuring that everyone on the team can work in an area aligned with their natural aptitudes. That is why, during recruitment, we used, among other tools, the Gallup and Harrison assessments, which help us better understand a person’s talents and way of working. This allows us not only to match roles to competencies, but also to build a team in which people truly complement one another. If you would like to get to know us better, we invite you to visit the page dedicated to our team.

Meet our team

The company’s next step was a new headquarters

Wall Art 2.0.

The beginnings were very modest. Everything fit into one small office – customer service, design, and even production. As orders began to increase, production was moved to a separate space, and the company gradually grew along with its team and scale of operations. Today, we work in a building that belongs entirely to Wall Art – over 400 m² of space designed our way. The walls are, of course, decorated with our wallpapers, while the offices, conference rooms, showroom, and production facilities are all located under one roof. This is where the ideas, designs, and products are created that later find their way into our customers’ interiors.

Wall Art Home

Wall Art’s headquarters are more than just a workplace – they are a space where our brand truly comes to life. This is where new collections are created, materials are tested, first samples are printed, and we discuss designs that later find their way onto our customers’ walls. It is a place where a pattern travels from the first idea, through the graphic file and printing process, all the way to the finished product shipped to interiors across Europe.

Every corner of this space says something about what Wall Art is – our wallpapers cover the walls, you can see them in real-life arrangements in the showroom, and just a few steps away, our production machines are at work. This means everything happens close together: design, production, and conversations with customers. In practice, this means one thing – almost every day, we see an idea turn into a real wall. And that is precisely why this place is more than just an office to us. It is simply Wall Art’s home.

The story of Wall Art is, to a large extent, a story of the courage to take the next steps. A small idea grew into a brand that expanded year by year, learning, testing new solutions, and developing its own distinctive style. Each stage brought new experiences, people, and projects that gradually shaped what Wall Art is today. Yet the most inspiring part of this journey is that there is still room for more ideas, new designs, and the next chapters of this story.

Trade fairs

Over the years, we have participated in numerous industry events in Poland and abroad.

Our biggest undertaking is taking part in trade fairs. See how our stands have changed over the years.

Our cars have changed too...

...but they have always been and still are covered with our designs

Wall Art family

When we look back over the past ten years, we sometimes feel that Wall Art operates a little like a well-organized family from a classic film about the Italian Mafia. There is the founder, who has guided the company’s direction from the very beginning; the people responsible for “special operations”—production; the artists who supply the most valuable goods—designs; and the entire team, which works every day to ensure that everything runs like clockwork. The difference is that, instead of secret meetings in smoke-filled rooms, we have brainstorming sessions about new collections, discussions about colors, and testing new materials.

Over the years, hundreds of designs, thousands of meters of wallpaper, and countless interior projects have been created. The brand has evolved from a small project developed on the sidelines of an advertising business into a mature interior brand with its own production facilities, a team of specialists, and collaborations with artists and architects. Along the way, almost everything has changed—technology, the scale of operations, and the space in which we work—but one thing has remained constant: an enormous commitment to quality and the belief that a beautiful design can completely transform a space.

And if someone from outside asks how it all works, the answer is simple. Everyone at Wall Art has their place, their role, and their talents. Thanks to this, this “family” has been doing exactly what it loves most for ten years—creating things that find their way onto the walls of people in different parts of the world. And we have a feeling that this is only the beginning of the story.
