“Magnolia” delights with the timeless beauty of some of the most exquisite garden flowers. The monumental magnolia blossoms are depicted in a realistic, painterly style, with exceptional attention to the details of the petals, buds, and leaves. The design was inspired by the work of Walter Hood Fitch (1817–1892) – an outstanding Scottish botanical illustrator, born in Glasgow and regarded as one of the foremost botanical artists of the 19th century. Over the course of his career, he created approximately 10,000 illustrations published in scientific journals and monumental botanical works, which continue to impress with their precision, lightness, and extraordinary artistry. “Magnolia” offers a contemporary interpretation of this classic aesthetic, combining the historical heritage of botanical illustration with the elegance of modern interiors. The light background highlights the intense shades of pink, giving the design a sense of lightness, freshness, and luxury.
Colour palette
The palette is based on rich raspberry pink, powder pink, and delicate white, complemented by the warm browns of the buds and the natural green of the leaves. For light patterns printed on EXTREME material, we recommend ordering a sample—the laminate may subtly alter the shade of light colors (white, gray, beige, light blue).
