Pattern designer
“Pompei” is an expressive, multilayered composition balanced between abstraction, drawing, and spontaneous painterly gesture. Free-flowing lines, geometric symbols, sketch-like figures, and irregular patches of color overlap like successive traces left on canvas. Fragmentary motifs and deliberately imperfect forms give the design the character of an artistic collage, in which every detail seems to be part of a larger, elusive story.
Bold black shapes and a rhythmic, checkerboard-like structure contrast with delicate drawing and soft, transparent layers of paint. “Pompei” combines the rawness of contemporary painting with the energy of an artist’s studio—it is bold, unpredictable, and impossible to overlook. Colour palette
The “Pompei” palette is based on black, graphite, stone greys, and warm taupe tones, offset by large areas of off-white. Accents of earthy brown, rusty red, and cool blue also appear. For light patterns printed on EXTREME material, we recommend ordering a sample—the laminate may subtly alter the shade of light colors (white, gray, beige, light blue).
