Kinui depicts a stylized woman wearing a traditional Japanese kimono, set against a backdrop of richly ornamented floral and geometric motifs. The design is dominated by warm shades of gold and beige, alongside deep navy and black tones, giving it an elegant, refined look. Kinui will fit perfectly into spaces inspired by Oriental style, where harmony, symmetry, and an abundance of detail are key. The design can serve as the focal point of a living room, lending it an artistic character and adding an ethnic touch. It will also work beautifully in a bedroom, creating a peaceful, soothing atmosphere with its muted colors and delicate depiction of the figure. Thanks to its complexity and detail, it can be used as a decorative feature in minimalist interiors, where it will make a striking statement. It also suits Japandi-style spaces, which combine Scandinavian minimalism with Japanese aesthetics. Materials such as wood, silk, and bamboo will complement this decoration beautifully, highlighting its exotic and elegant character.
The design was created by Małgorzata Gajderowicz. Her work is primarily inspired by art, especially painting and graphic art, but also sculpture, architecture, printmaking, and design in the broadest sense. A particularly prominent element in her work is the influence of classical Far Eastern art, especially Japanese art.
