Mall is an architectural drawing of the Wertheim department store, now known as Renoma. Before the First World War, the Berlin-based Wertheim company already had plans to build a modern department store of monumental proportions in Wrocław. It was ultimately built in 1930 and expanded in 2009. The new part of Renoma refers to the character of the historic building through the horizontal divisions of its façade and continues Hermann Dernburg’s original concept, creating a new quality from the two connected sections.
Renoma department store is one of the landmark works of European modernism in the Art Deco style. The Mall design will not only make the room appear optically larger, but will also delight you with the vibrant ombre colour palette created by the artist.
The design was created by Kamil Siudziński, born in 1983 in Wrocław. A computer graphic designer by profession and an artist by passion, he creates contemporary art while constantly pushing his own boundaries, without limiting himself to a single style, subject matter or medium. In his works, he depicts people, nature and architecture.
The circle wallpapers are prepared as decorations with a diameter of 130 cm, or slightly smaller if additional elements such as flowers, wings or other details extend beyond the design.
The wallpaper is easy to apply and requires no adhesive. It can be applied not only to walls but also to furniture.
