Illusion is a piece from another mini collection by Magdalena Głodek for Wall Art. The unifying element is the closed eyes of the women depicted. Mystery, inspiration, the illusion of a dream, and the distortion of space created by showing only half of each face make placing Illusion on a wall an unconventional and unexpected choice. The timeless range of gray tones, complemented by golden elements, will become an essential addition to modern interiors.
The paintings of Magdalena Głodek, born in 1983, connect two worlds:
the artist’s inner world and the world around her.
She is inspired by women’s emotions. She feels the need to capture them and enclose them in a particular form. She leaves the protagonists of her works mid-sentence. She loves the unspoken. In 2005, she graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 2016, she has been painting professionally.
She creates her work within four series: Przenikanie (since 2018), Punkt Widzenia (since 2020), Poczucie (since 2020), and Zmiana (since 2021)
