“Sapporo” is a poetic interpretation of a landscape inspired by classic Japanese ink painting. The design depicts a sequence of softly undulating mountain ridges, winding like tranquil waves and interwoven with subtle lines of trees and scattered ink washes. In the distance, a discreet, ethereal moon disc adds an atmosphere of silence and contemplation. The artwork is light, rich in detail, yet open—as if it extended endlessly beyond the boundaries of the composition. The linear sketch of the treetops and shaded, semi-transparent layers that overlap like delicate mists draw the eye.
