Rio is an abstract composition made up of geometric shapes and vivid colors. It features forms such as semicircles, rectangles, lines, and ellipses, set against a neutral, light background. The pattern’s color palette is intense and varied, encompassing shades of blue, orange, red, green, pink, and white. Subtle tonal transitions and gradients are visible across the entire surface of Rio, giving the composition depth and a three-dimensional quality. A black vertical stripe with a rounded end in the lower-left section adds structure and order to the abstract composition. Rio is full of energy and life thanks to its bright, varied colors and dynamic arrangement of forms. Its geometric composition and intense hues make it perfect for modern interiors, where it can serve as a striking focal point.
The pattern was created by Piotr Wojtecki—a designer, graphic artist, and painter. He currently lives in Łódź. He graduated from the Faculty of Design Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. He creates paintings and artistic objects in the style of geometric abstraction. He draws inspiration from modernist architecture, street art, and graffiti, which he has been involved with since his youth. His works are held in private collections in Poland and abroad, including Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
