Meditation is a painting from Magdalena Głodek’s latest mini collection for Wall Art. The word meditation comes from the Latin term meditatio, meaning delving into one’s thoughts, contemplation, and reflection. Its effect is a sense of stillness, concentration, and calm—the emotions conveyed by the painting Meditation. Delicate shades of gray and gold, set against a light background, will blend perfectly into simple, somewhat austere interiors to which you want to add a touch of madness.
The paintings of Magdalena Głodek, born in 1983, connect two worlds:
the artist’s inner world and the world around her.
She is inspired by feminine emotions. She feels the need to capture them and enclose them in some form. She leaves the heroines of her works in mid-sentence. She loves things left unsaid. In 2005, she graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has been painting professionally since 2016.
She creates her work within four series: Przenikanie (since 2018), Punkt Widzenia (since 2020), Poczucie (since 2020), and Zmiana (since 2021).
