Lestes is a subtle motif of dragonflies hovering above a delicately textured background in shades of gray, beige, and cream. The dragonflies are drawn with thin, precise lines, adding lightness and an ethereal quality to the composition. The background is rich in subtle, organic patterns and patches that create a layered effect and a sense of depth. Lestes fits perfectly into interiors inspired by nature, Scandinavian minimalism, and boho style. Its delicate color palette and organic motifs bring peace and harmony to any interior, pairing beautifully with neutral, light-colored walls and natural materials such as wood, linen, and cotton.
The pattern was created by Laura Zubel-Stoły, who works under the pseudonym Muural. Born in 1992 in Katowice, she continues to live and work in Silesia. She holds a master’s degree in fine arts. She is inspired by the fascination with the complex nature of humanity. Her characteristic earthy, beige color palette references naturalness. In her graphic work, she often depicts female silhouettes that embody her vision of a single emotion, behavior, or country of origin.
